Jeff Pitchell is an internationally acclaimed dynamic singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor. Jeff achieved national recognition when his last CD, Heavy Hitter (Pyramid Records/EMI) reached #7 on the Billboard Charts, selling more CDs than Delbert McClinton, Robert Cray, Etta James, Johnny Lee Hooker & Muddy Waters. Jeff has recorded with such greats as Rick Derringer, Dave Mason, James Cotton and Clarence Clemons. 

Texas Flood consists of Jimmie Biggins on sax (formerly with James Taylor and The Temptations), Marty Richards on drums (drummer for J Geils Band, Joe Perry's Band, and Peter Wolf's Band), Dave Natale on bass, Dan Fontanella B3 Organ. These seasoned musicians unite to bring a high energy mix of Rhythm and Blues, Rock Soul, Pop and funky Texas Blues.

LP INVITATIONAL GROUP – is drummer’s Liviu Pop (LP) project designed to feature a diverse and always changing line-up of seasoned musicians, bringing their talent and artistry into an open-minded and fresh musical environment, focusing on improvisation and the spontaneous interaction between the players.  For this show, drummer LP will be joined on stage by three great artists who are at the forefront of the funk-jazz music scene in Boston, MA: Brian Thomson (trombone), Beau Sasser (organ) and Steve Fell (guitar). Together, they will offer a program of ultra-groovy funk and soul-jazz. Besides leading his own group, LP is a versatile and soulful drummer playing with numerous jazz, blues & soul local, national and international artists. He has toured and performed with Hubert Sumlin, Sam Lay, Lucky Peterson , Debbie Davies, Lil’ Dave Thompson, Tony Lynn Washington, Ruben Wilson, Mighty Sam McClain, Chris Tofield, Diane Blue, Roomful of Blues, Murali Coryell, Roberto Morbioli, Sir Waldo Weathers, Danny Draher and many others.

Mike Crandall Band

The Mike Crandall Band is one of the premier blues bands in New England. The Band has accumulated many awards in the last decade as the three time winner of the Connecticut Blues Society Blues Challenge in 2000, 2005, and 2008 as well as winner of the Boston Blues Society Blues Challenge in 2009. As the winner of the Connecticut and Boston Challenges, the band was sent to Memphis, TN four times to participate in the International Blues Challenge. In 2000 and 2008, The Mike Crandall Band qualified as finalists in Memphis after being evaluated against more than 200 bands from all over the world.

The band features Crandall on diatonic and chromatic harmonicas as well as deep blue vocals. Guitarist Sean Leonard is one of Connecticuts’s most respected and exciting players and vocalists. The band is well known for its high energy mix of traditional and original jump swings and shuffles that impress any crowd.

The Mike Crandall Band has two self produced CD’s; “Black Rain” and “Just Livin’ the Blues”. A review in the July 2005 issue of Blues Review Magazine said that “Black Rain” was “one of the best surprises to come this way in a long time”.
